The Journey to Jewelry Photography
Even the longest journey starts with the first step, and for us the journey started over 20 years ago when studioEPIC photography first opened its doors. At first specializing in Portrait and Artistic Photography I tried various form of photography and eventually started to specialize in product Photography.
Around 2010 I stumbled upon my first jewelry photography client and from then on the studio has never been the same. Jewelry Photography is a hugely rewarding, artistically stimulating and technically challenging area of photography. The goal of EPIC Jewelry Photography is to continue what was started at studioEPIC, but push the envelope of superior jewelry photography ever further.

When you work with us you can count on more then just photography services. Because we specialize in Jewlery Photography we offer a 360 degree perspective on your product and image branding needs.
Consultations
Before we shoot, we meet with existing or potential customers to discuss project objectives, desired look and feel, media where the images will be published and develop a visual language for the brand.
Photography
Photos are always taken in our studio using specialized equipment. We offer our services to bloth local customers who drop off and pick up or work with remote customers via secured, insured shipments.
Editing
Editing is a critical part of the image creation process. We offer services such as color matching, colorization to achieve specific color of metals or crystals, as well as multi image compositions.
Cropping & Shadows
Close cropping is a common service requested by our customers which allows the image to be superimposed onto various backgrounds in the future. Shadows are a key part of developing the visual design language for the brand and are always delivered as a separate image layer.

- There is a $75 setup fee for each batch of products received.

Alice Bil-Szot
Alice is the founder of studioEPIC photography and EPIC Jewelry Photography. Alice has a BA from Ryerson University in Toronto as well as Post Graduate diploma in Photography. Alice has been a photographer for almost 25 years and has a broad set of experiences across various forms of photography. Most recently Alice has been focusing on Jewlery Photography in an effort to push the envelope of quality. Alice's goal is to crate a studio focused on outstanding service where the photographs becomes a partner in creating a successful Jewlery business by creating images that customers love.
Lucia Esposito
Lucia is our lead photo editor and junior photographer, working with some customers in the New York state area. Lucia attended University of the Art in Pensylvania where she completed the Photography program (BFA). Lucia is a talented editor with a critical eye and fantastic attention to detail.
